Under the scheme, introduced with a tagline ‘This Dashain & Tihar, Build a Home & Buy a Car’, the bank is providing housing loans at annual interest of as low as 9.95 per cent and vehicle loans at rates as low as 9.45 per cent. “These rates are lowest offered by any bank in the country,” Everest Bank CEO AK Ahluwalia told a press conference organised today in Kathmandu.
The bank is providing heavy discount on service charge if borrowers opt to acquire home and vehicle loans and 50 per cent discount on annual charge of safe deposit lockers.
The bank is also providing loans to purchase, construct, repair or renovate a residential building and buy small piece of land to construct a residential house.
It is also giving away credit to purchase automobiles of reputed brands for personal use, home equity loan to meet requirements of existing home loan clients and consumer loans to purchase consumer durables to existing home loan clients. Everest Bank provides banking services through 50 branch offices, 20 revenue collection counters and 70 ATMs.
