Kumar Lamsal, the new CEO of Kist Bank, assumed office on Sunday. According to a bank statement, deputy CEO Ashok Sherchan also joined office from Sunday itself. Prior to this, Lamsal was the CEO of Sanima Bank while Sherchan was working with Prabhu Development Bank as the CEO. Lamsal was at the helm of the Sanima Bank when it was upgraded to a class ´A´ bank from the class ´B´. "Deputy CEO Sherchan has 18 years of experience working with banks like Nepal Bangladesh Bank and NCC Bank," the statement added.
Meanwhile, the meeting of the Board of Directors (BoD) of Bank of Kathmandu held on Sunday renewed the contract of its CEO Ajay Shrestha for another four years.
